This type of tray design is generally used for columns of small diameter – less than 900 mm. Installation and assembly of standard trays inside the column, directly at the customer’s premises does not seem practical. Therefore, trays are pre-mounted in the “cassettes”. After that, each cassette can be introduced through the open flange of the vessel.
