A device is used to filter highly contaminated liquids with particle sizes from 20 to 100 µm.
Five reasons to choose a spring filter:
Regeneration
A spring filter has probably highest self-cleaning capabilities compared to other regenerable filters.
Operating conditions
Filtering element is made of sturdy alloy. It is corrosion-resistant and can work at temperature range from -200 ℃ to 650℃.
Reliability & simplicity
Product’s design is both simple and well thought out. So a filter can be serviced by workers without attracting service engineers.
Quick regeneration
Regeneration routine takes only 30 minutes.
Compact size
All elements are mounted on the same frame. This makes filter compact and allows placing it in a limited areas.
Specifications & description
An FR series regenerable filter is designed to clean liquids and gases from particles in 20-100 µm range.
One of biggest merits this filter has is regeneration abilite. Filter’s body has a special pipe to wash the filtering element with back flow of clear liquid or compressed gas (air, nitrogen).
FEk elements design (FEk – Filtering Element by Krapukhin) allows almost 100% regeneration of filtering capacity. Amount of FEks in a filter depends on required filtering capacity and is indicated in a device’s specification.
FEk is a stainless steel spring in casing with clearance between coils from 20 to 100 µm. One end of filtering element is shut, the other one has a threaded bushing welded to it. Filter is screwed into it’s position inside a unit’s body.
A medium for cleaning is supplied from the outer side of the filtering element, passes through the spring coli spaces and loses contaminating particles. After filtering the medium is extracted from the inner part of the filtering element.
During the work an outer part of filters is contaminated by filtered particles. This causes the growth of pressure difference. Filtering capacity can be regenerated by flushing the filter with the backflow of clear liquid or gas (air or nitrogen).
