Description
Tar traps are installed on the line or at the downstream, both at ion exchange units and at activated carbon cleaning units. Traps consist of a slot filter element and a shell.
Filtration goes inwards from the outside.
Mechanical impurities remain in the shell protecting the system from contamination.
Stainless steel 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316 Ti, 410, 410 S, Monel alloy, Hastelloy alloy, duplex are used.
